The Fund for Research and Education in Genetics (FREG) is the recipient of funds raised at biannual events in Switzerland that aim to strengthen the interface between science and society in the region.
Funds raised support genetic research at the Center for Integrative Genomics (UNIL) specifically for women, grants for students of genetics as well as other ad hoc funding gaps associated tot he advancement of research and education in genetics. Finally, the FREG supports local educational initiatives for primary school aged children at L’éprouvette.
